Description

Want to experience deeper sleep, alleviate stress and tension, improve athletic recovery, and settle your frazzled nervous system? If your nervous system feels stuck in “go mode,” or if tension keeps creeping back in no matter what you do, Reset+Recover sessions offer a restorative reset. These gentle, fully clothed, oil-free craniosacral therapy sessions help release chronic tension from both your fascia (the connective tissue that supports every structure in your body) and your nervous system — the two areas most affected by desk work, aging, and high-output lifestyles. Using primarily light touch and consistently deep presence, Jennifer works with your body's craniosacral system (i.e. the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround your brain and spinal cord) to restore flow, balance, and ease throughout your body. Reset+Recover clients often notice: • Deep relaxation and clearer thinking • Relief from chronic aches and pains, headaches, and tech-neck symptoms • Deeper, higher-quality sleep and improved resilience • A sense of “ungluing” as long-held tension finally lets go How to prepare: It's important to arrive for your Reset+Recover session well-hydrated. Loose, comfortable clothing like T-shirts and sweats or PJ pants are ideal for your Reset+Recover appointment, and please avoid wearing jeans, cords, leggings, tights/pantyhose, dresses/skirts — in other words: anything bulky, restrictive, revealing, or with a ton of elastic. Your comfort is of the utmost importance! This Reset+Recover appointment is 60 minutes long. As a reminder, it's important to arrive for your session well-hydrated and to allow yourself at least 15 minutes afterward to integrate this deep work with a walk around the block, some water, a quiet sit, or a light snack. Many clients feel quite sleepy after these sessions, so please allow yourself a little time to transition back into your day.
